The period of observation in Novaya Sanzhara will not be increased - Ministry of Health of Ukraine

The period of observation of citizens evacuated from Wuhan, who are in the sanatorium in Novaya Sanzhara, will not be extended and will be 14 days, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization. This is reported by the news agency Ukrinform with reference to the corresponding statement of the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Victor Lyashko. According to him, the two-week period of observation is determined by the order of the Government of Ukraine and all information is based on official information of WHO, as well as Centers for Disease Control. These organizations, as Lyashko noted, have not revised the period of incubation of coronavirus disease. Therefore, we work on the planned schedule of observation for 14 days, Lyashko noted. The woman has a chronic disease of gastroenterological nature. It should also be noted that today the observatory of citizens evacuated from the PRC lasts for the fifth day.
