In New York City, more than 32,000 people contracted coronavirus

Coronavirus infection of a new type has been identified in 32,308 people in New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio said on March 29 at a meeting with journalists. He added that this number included 678 deaths from COVID-19. According to the news agency, on March 29, the Governor of the American State of New York, Andrew Cuomo, distributed information that 728 deaths from coronavirus pneumonia of a new type had been reported in the region.
