Rospotrebnadzor: in Pridnestrovie at high level fight coronavirus

Representatives of Rospotrebnadzor highly appreciated the organization of work on the fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. According to the news agency, Russian experts in Pridnestrovie said this at a meeting with President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselskiy. This is the second meeting of Krasnoselskiy with experts of the Russian Federation who arrived in the PMR, who work in Pridnestrovie for the third day. Krasnoselskiy noted that experts have already visited many facilities and can give a reasonable assessment of anticoronavirus activity in Pridnestrovie. Head of the Clinical Research Department of the Russian Central Research Institute of Epidemiology Tatiana Ruzhentsova stated that Pridnestrovian doctors and employees of the services do everything possible to prevent mass spread of the virus, and prevention, protective measures, medical process are organized at a rather high level. At the same time, according to her, there is a shortage of modern equipment and in some medical institutions there is limited space. During the meeting it was noted that in Pridnestrovie today only one patient of coronavirus hospital needs artificial lung ventilation apparatus. This is a good factor that indicates the early detection of the virus in citizens and the timeliness of medical care for victims. Head of the Sector of the Russian Research Anti-Noise Institute Microb Tatiana Krasnovskaya noted the attention of medical staff and officials to comments and recommendations. President Krasnoselskiy noted that in case of overcrowding in one hospital, the load is distributed to others, because the heavy workload of hospitals leads to a deterioration in the quality of medical care. Our first priority is to keep the doctors safe. The health and life of other citizens depend on their well-being, the head of state stressed. In Pridnestrovie, the delegation of the Russian Federation will work until May 17. The result of the mission of Russian specialists will be the provision of methodological and practical assistance to Pridnestrovian doctors in the fight against coronavirus infection. It should be noted that earlier Moldova tried to spread at the international level accusations against the PMR about allegedly ineffective fight against coronavirus in the republic. At the same time, the Moldovan authorities during the epidemic increased the blockade of the PMR, including by preventing the passage of medical supplies and protective equipment to combat infection.
