Georgia: Prime Minister's shock report ahead of elections - Andro Malkin

The annual report of Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Gakharia caused mixed assessments in the country both from the politically active population and from the diverse expert community. According to some, clear and outspoken supporters of the ruling Georgian Dream party, for whom all the benefits of persons close to the authorities are available, the prime minister's speech was another victory for the authorities and another defeat inflicted by the parliamentary opposition. Others hold the exact opposite opinion and believe that in the report of George Gakharia there was nothing but empty words and promises, and therefore he failed to reflect the arguments of opponents.
