Work on the creation of a background project for the series The Witcher began at Netflix. This was reported by observers of the We Got This Covered portal, citing informed sources. According to sources, the plot of the new series will unfold one and a half thousand years before the time shown in the original series. In those distant days, a magical cataclysm occurred, which was called the Conjugation of the Spheres. After this event, the boundaries between various worlds turned out to be permeable and in one world people, elves, dwarves, red men and other creatures appeared. When the cataclysm ended, the borders again became insurmountable, and all creatures from different worlds remained locked in one. Due to the fact that creatures with magical nature posed a mortal danger to people, professional witch hunters appeared among people. The script of the series will be for the most part the creation of Netflix writers, because in Andrzej Sapkowski's novels about the Witcher, the events associated with the Conjugation of Spheres are not described in detail.
