Motorcycle sales in Russia since the beginning of the year increased by 10%
From January to June 2020, 8504 motorcycles were sold in Russia by 10.4% more compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the portal Speedme.ru. The highest sales growth was recorded in March. Then 1366 bikes were implemented. In the second quarter, 6,543 bikes were sold. It is worth noting that every fifth bike was sold in Moscow. In general, 2,572 motorcycles were sold in the Russian capital and Moscow Region for the first half of 2020. More than a third of equipment with an engine volume of 500 cm3 (33.21%) sold in six months in Russia, these are bikes of the German company BMW Motorrad. A total of 1293 German motorcycles were sold. Recall that almost 60% of all new motorcycles sold in Russia in the first half of 2020 were for motor vehicles of five brands BMW, Racer, Bajaj, Harley-Davidson and Motoland.
