NATO military bloc closely monitors events in Belarus

The NATO military bloc is closely monitoring the situation in Belarus and calls on the authorities of this country to respect the right of people to peaceful protests. The corresponding statement was issued today, August 16, by the headquarters of the North Atlantic Alliance.
